Back in high school (when dinosaurs roamed the earth), I was going out with a guy. The whole thing was going flawlessly. I stopped by his residence without warning, and I could hear him say to his parents not to unlock the door. I thought "What the hell?" but he came out anyway. He had a bad attitude and told me to go home. He wouldn't say why. He wouldn't calm down and enlighten me as to what was wrong. I decided to sit on his front porch for 5-10 minutes.

When I left, his ex girlfriend's car pulled out following me from a side street. She followed me all the way home. A few minutes afterward, a cop came to my door and asked me if I was intoxicated since somebody called and alleged that I was speeding and swerving all over. He could tell I wasn't. The guy and I broke up that night.

His ex finally cheated on him, but it didn't change my mind about him.

That's a rough story. I'm sorry that happened. The good news is that's the kinda high school-ish mentality that hopefully people outgrow. My advice... date college guys ;)

that's a shame that happened. Especially since the police have better things to do like solving murders, etc... not managing people's relationship issues and responding to false reports.
